Happy Holidays!

I didn't know what to run today, since it's a holiday (Chanukah is now, too), but I couldn't think of any good Christmas scores or advice to print. Several years ago Andy Dursin and I were contacted to supply a list of Christmas songs from movies to the Jazz at the Movies people, for a Christmas compilation. (You know, you need it like a hole in the head.) They ended up using most of our suggestions, except for "Do You Know How Christmas Trees Are Grown?" from OHMSS--one of the most terrifying things you'll ever hear--and some song from Christmas Vacation.

I'm afraid I might have gotten people in the habit of checking this site on holidays to win free stuff, because over Thanksgiving weekend we had a contest to see who could guess how much money Alien 4 (tank) would make.

Sorry, no contest today. But we'll do some next year.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who has visited the FSM site this year, and hopefully found out about our magazine and CDs, too. This site was only launched last May, but we've amassed a good 150+ "Film Score Daily" entries--we'll shortly have a search engine to get to the stuff you want quickly.

We have some awesome stuff planned for next year. Not just in terms of this site or the magazine, but more CDs. You'll see. Can't say anything yet. But remember: we are the place to go for film music. If you want to find out credits, other sites, reviews, info--come here, we've either got it, or we've got links. And always remember:
