Time-Travel Article Is Here
Note by Lukas Kendall
Today in Film Score Daily let me direct to a new, enormous article we've
finally loaded here on the site: the
film music "time travel" overview by Kerry Byrnes. Kerry
originally wrote this for FSM but it was too large for us ever to print,
and we figured the web site would be the best home for it.
The article is a gigantic, well-researched piece on scores over the
years for movies and TV shows involving time travel. Have fun!
Also, something I'm overjoyed to have are the SECURE SERVER order forms
we've been promising for subscriptions
and also for all our CDs
and other merchandise. These will allow you to send your credit card
information to buy magazines and CDs through a secured, encrypted thingamajig...
the latest in high technology. The merchandise form is particularly cool
and offers order summaries, automatic totaling (with shipping)--the greatest
thing since sliced bread. Well, for us at least, since we're trying to
sell CDs. And we're trying to sell CDs so we can make more of them! Remember,
if we really just wanted to make money, we'd be in real estate.
I just got a new apartment and today they hooked up the cable. I got
the cable of the gods... I mean Zeus on Mt. Olympus, he's watching Media
One just like me. Tons o' channels, with those pop-up descriptions of what
you're watching. Take that, evil slow-scrolling program guide!
Be here tomorrow for the Friday news update!
