Calling All Webmasters

Many thanks to those who applied for our Managing Editor and webmaster positions. We have hired our Managing Editor and will introduce him shortly to you, our beloved readers. Regarding the webmaster position, we need to do some more work on the site and we'll revisit shortly whether or not we want or can afford to fill this position.

This column today is to invite my fellow film music webmasters to (a) publicize your site and (b) help me fill the daily FSM content -- all in one blow! We want to start a series of guest columns whereby film music webmasters introduce themselves to the FSM readership, give an overview and history of their site, and present some sample content: be it commentary, reviews, or something else.

So, if you run a film music website and want to participate, here's all you have to do:

Send me a text file or email (very important! make sure it's .txt, no special graphics or fancy business) anywhere from 500 to 2000 words consisting of an introduction and some sample material from your site. Please include all URL's in brackets -- feel free to include as many as you want for different parts of your site, as we'll take care of this minor formatting.

A few requests: put movie titles in ALL CAPS so we don't have to go through and italicize things. Also, we'll do a pass for grammar and spelling but strongly suggest you proofread your submission.

That's it! Send your documents either as text-file attachments or within the body of the email. We look forward to printing your submissions.
