NOSFERATU - Hans Erdmann , The Alloy Orchestra, James Bernard
Erdmann's original score for the silent film was rerecorded in 1995 by the Brandenburg Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Gillian B. Anderson and released on RCA/BMG. In the 1990s, two new scores were written for the film. The Alloy Orchestra presented 14:16 of their score on their CD The Silents, on Accurate Records. James Bernard's score was conducted by Nic Raine and released on Silva.

DRACULA - Philip Glass
The film in its original form had no new music, but in 1998 Philip Glass wrote a new score to be performed live to picture, and it was released on Nonesuch performed by the Kronos Quartet.
