In a recent installment of this series, I asked if anyone knew which TV movie featured Helen Hunt going crazy from PCP and jumping through a window (an unintentionally humorous sequence featured prominently on Saturday Night Live when Hunt hosted), Angel Dusted or Desperate Lives. If anyone has definitive information I would be most curious.

FROM: "Victor Field"

SUBJECT:   "Desperate Lives"

I remember watching that movie on TV years ago; there was indeed a scene with a drugged-up girl jumping out of a window, but I'm pretty sure the character played by Helen Hunt -- because later in the movie she and the one played by Doug McKeon go driving off the side of a road while they're both high, with her saying "Wheeeeeeeee" as they fly down the slope before the car crashes. He survives, but she doesn't - he's "maimed forever," and she's "dead forever," as Diana Scarwid passionately tells a gym full of teenagers in the finale, as part of a speech to get them to burn all the drugs they're carrying. (And it works. If only.) Hope this helps.
