Because of this I spent many hours watching films, some real masterpieces, some not really worth watching and some where the music attracted my attention. I had never really listened to music, not even plain populair music, but it was film that made me notice it. There was John Williams and his memorable themes, John Barry with 007 and then I noticed the name Jerry Goldsmith and I was sold to (his) film music. At first I started buying a lot of films Jerry Goldsmith scored and later I went searching the internet for releases of his music. There I discovered the FSM label, around the time "Islands in the Stream" was issued. Since then soundtracks are taking more and more of my time; I even watch less films.
