I have collected film scores since the mid 50's. Grew up in Pittsburgh, sent to boarding school in New England, lived in New York for 15 years, in Hawai'i for 3 years, Phoenix for 6 years, and now reside in San Diego since Nov.'96. B.A. in Classical Civilization from Boston U. and M.F.A. in Acting from Tisch School of the Arts at New York U. Gave up acting, got clean and sober (which I still am after more than 20 years), divorced, came out of the closet, and began a life very similar to that of Larry Darrell in "The Razor's Edge," with all that implies. Currently working as a psychiatric nurse on a locked unit here in San Diego. It's been an odyssey of sorts...johnbarchibald@att.net |
