Well, certainly a surprise; it was just a year ago when a member posted that they contacted the composer, but he said the masters were missing. Short search (comparatively speaking)!
I contacted Richard about two years ago and at that time there were no plans to release the score because they couldn't seem to find the masters. Says Richard: "They may be somewhere in my archives, but I suspect they are lost for good, and probably unplayable even if we did find them."
Richard sent me a long and very interesting email about the making of this soundtrack.
Great to see Wall releasing this great releases...hope to see Madman by Stephen Horelick next after Shock Waves or whatabout Silent Rage by Peter Bernstein & Mark Goldberg???
Never ever managed to see this film much less hear the score. Bur with all the wraps the score gets around here ill definitley give it a try. Great cover by the way.

I really like 70's, analogue brooding scores like this. Never really thought anyone would release it. It's a holy grail I had given up on! Looking very forward to this.
Any new Einhorn on CD is good news for me, too -- I'm a huge fan. I believe THE PROWLER is a possibility, but I seem to recall there were issues with finding usable elements. Please do not quote me on that, though. (Wall, feel free to whop me upside the head if I've got it wrong.)
THE BOOGEY MAN will be out... eventually... some day. Work is being done on the master to make sure it's as good as it possibly can be. Trust me, it'll be worth the wait. I shall say no more.
