I was hoping that this score would one day see the light of day, and they finally got around to releasing it (at least in a digital version) and if you haven't had a chance to hear this, you should check it out. It's a fantastic score! Lush orchestrations, choirs, very beautiful stuff. (listen to track 2)

It's a good CD, as it most of Jusid's stuff. A newcomer to be reckoned with, for sure.

According to the composer website, the soundtrack is only available through iTunes and Spotify.

Any news on when the score for the third series is going to be released?

Federico Jusid commented in facebook:

Por el momento no hay intención de publicar los temas de la tercera temporada de la serie pero subo cinco temas nuevos a la web y a soundcloud.

It`s a pity.

I'm done with 2/3 of the first season. Can't someone release the music for all three seasons? The existing release has about 16 minutes of music from Season 1 and 60 minutes from Season 2. At the very least they could release a Season 1 album and a Season 3 one. All reviews of Jusid's music have been great many recognizing it as some of the best music written for TV today. Maybe MovieScoreMedia?

BTW the show is pretty good, I'm hooked.

Can't any label pick this up?

BTW, HOW ON EARTH DO YOU SPELL INCORRECTLY THE NAME OF THE COMPOSER IN THE FRONT COVER?

"In the non-film categories, Argentine composer Federico Jusid won the award for Best Original Score for a Television Series for the second year in a row for his outstanding work on the third season of the Spanish historical TV drama “Isabel,”."

Release. This.

I just replayed this magnificent score, which I do every few months. Honestly, this is the best score I have heard in years. If any of you are reading this and haven't heard it, and tend to like full, rich symphonic/choral period pieces that evoke Rozsa, Newman, and North with nods to more recent works like Conan the Barbarian, then give it a shot.

I'm not sure I hear any of the names you list as references, but ISABEL is a fine score indeed. I have three CDs worth of this music, back when Jusid was on fire.

Thor, I have 1 cd with 77 minutes--a download. Where can you get the other discs?

Sorry, I wasn't really precise. I don't have any actual physical CDs of ISABEL, but I've organized my material over three "discs" in my iTunes. Some is the commercial release, other things are promo material.

Still Jusid's best, all these years later. I'm waiting for him to return to this form.
