OK, so I compiled a list of the top 5 or 10 soundtracks from several websites: Filmtracks.com, Cinematic Sound, Movie Wave, Movie Music UK, Tracksounds, and International Film Music Critics (Yup, I left off the academy awards) And I made a tally of which scores received the most mentions and here is what I found:

Romeo and Juliet (4 mentions)
The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug (4)

Evil Dead (3)
Grand Piano (3)
Jack the Giant Slayer (3)

Baczynski (2)
Book Thief (2)
Escape From Tomorrow (2)
Gravity (2)
Remember Me (2)
Stalingrad (2)
Summer in February (2)

Perhaps there are other awards I should have included, but I don't know about them. Also, I didn't give any weight for how they ranked on each list. Mainly because some lists only listed a winner with other candidates. But I think this list gives a good broad view of some of the best stuff in 2013. Anyway, thought this may be of interest to some here smile
