If it's ALL the pieces he did, it must include his new Soarin' piece based on Jerry's theme....and if the release includes THAT, I really hope it includes everything Jerry wrote and recorded for the ride originally! (Though I totally understand if it's a Broughton-only release too.) Yavar

This will be one CD I will be looking forward to. Theme park music is always exciting. I'll be shocked if it all fits on just one CD...I'm betting it might even be a 3 disc set. Bruce wrote a lot for Disney! Yavar

this will be a 2 cd set containing pretty much everything broughton has composed for disney parks over the years it will be pretty comprehensive and WILl contain broughtons music for soarin. last i heard it was waiting for disney to sign off on it and that intrada would be releasing it and that we were getting closer to an actual release announcement and date.

Wow, exciting and thanks for confirming. If Bruce's Soarin' isn't making it onto this (perhaps because of Goldsmith's theme being used?) I do hope it is eventually included whenever we get a complete release with everything Jerry Goldsmith originally wrote and recorded for the ride. Yavar

that will probably be contained on a future official album release when/if we get a new one. its been 5 years now.

I'm guessing you're referring to the Broughton Soarin'...I would think at this point that only a label like Intrada would care about releasing the other two cues Goldsmith wrote and recorded for it. if you are referring to goldsmiths version of soarin that track has been released on the previous official albums already unless you mean the preshow music and exit music tracks

I'll make a re-post: Last year at the Intrada forum when a user suggested a release of Disney park rides music was DOA because it had been two year since anything was said about it, Doug chimed in: A lesson is in order here. At one time, virtually all Disney scores were unavailable except those few that they felt were of sufficient commercial interest. Fast forward to today: Intrada has released literally dozens of scores to Disney movies big and small. Goldsmith, Horner, Mancini, Delerue, Goodwin, Steiner, Giacchino, Poledouris, Zimmer... the list grows monthly. Oh, the lesson? Never assume anything. --Doug

I'm talking about the original Soarin' music that plays at the front of the line before you go in (not the music loop of other pre-existing film scores), as well as the original exit music that Jerry also wrote. Having all three cues that Jerry wrote together would be wonderful, on some future non-Broughton Disney rides score release. Yavar

Folks, don't believe everything you read.

Can we at least believe what Bruce himself wrote? Yavar

Misread this as "Bruce Broughton Theme Park coming." Grew a little excited at first, but then just confused.
