Did i read somewhere on here that Rachel Portman's music for the Jim Henson 'Storyteller' series was coming out soon? Really hope this wasn't some dream!
From what I've gathered from previous threads a release is in the works. They were thinking of doing it at the end of this year but later indicated it would be hard to get it finished (same as with the x-files set). I don't mind the wait because these scores are well worth it!
Ms Portman was kind enough to supply us with the complete scores to both Storyteller and Greek Myths. We plan on releasing it sometime late Spring/early summer. Will keep you posted.

Actually I bumped it to Aug 24... but that could change.

Is this release still a go?
Please, say that it is... A Storyteller soundtrack is my Holy Grail and I've been checking in periodically for over a year on any news of this release. It's frustrating that it keeps getting pushed away for other things, though I understand. However, I just might go crazy if it is bumped again, LOL.
Just wanted to add my voice asking the question if the release is still coming? Its been on my want list ever since first seeing the magical series and the music was just...perfect!

Still working on it. We have about 75 projects in various forms of production. Storyteller is approaching the finish line and should be out by years end. TV projects are much harder to deal with than films due to all the content.
