Well, this year is the 30th Anniversary of WOLFEN so I expect it soon.
I'd love Wolfen gets released as well. Hope this isn't within the cluster of recordings Horner feels self-conscious about, like Battle Beyond the Stars. That one I'd like to hear complete. Especially the unreleased "Hesphestus Station" cue. Maybe Intrada could persuade him.

I love taking any opportunity to push for the release of James Horner's WOLFEN. This always seemed to me Horner's first real "A" picture, and he really rose to the challenge.
I saw WOLFEN in 70mm 6-track Dolby at the long gone, but beautiful Pacific Picwood theatre in LA when it first opened. It was a sonic and visual delight in that theatre, and Horner's score kicked ass. I then spent the next months anxiously awaiting the soundtrack LP to show up at my local Tower Records...and we all know how that went! Unfortunately, I too have that b@@t CD (ugh!)...but for decades that's all there was for this desperate audience member!
Lets hope and pray those multi-track tapes are still okay. If not, I suppose there's always the film-dubbing stems...not ideal, but still something.
I do think this one's time has come! Let's get 'er done!

WOLFEN does, i have it in my HAND 
fyi a long time ago in a record store nearby....
Doug Fake informed me that he had a personal copy of WOLFEN. This was around the time of the film release and i was bemoaning the lack of a score release. Cant remember for sure, but he might have even played me some of it - on a cassete!

Sure it borrows from the haunting trumpet solo from Ives's "The Unanswered Question" for its main theme....
well, as i have said before...
i give him the benefit of the doubt on this one and call it a "paraphrase' (which it is)
a time honored and perfectly accesptable musical device

Both of these scores deserve decent releases. I seem to recall quite a few engaging cues from Wolfen that didn't make the thingamagig.

I have both The Hand and Wolfen on CD unmentionable.
Unfortunatelly, all that´s available is only a tiny part of The Hand and Wolfen is also far from complete and at least Wolfen is a LONG score to fill the majority of the CD. In case it survives somewhere in full version and not like Journey of Natty Gann... 
Curious, how much music is missing The Journey of Natty Gann? Haven't seen the movie all the way through.

I know that some are not fond of these two scores... but, they were excellent. And, in all technicality the reason I started really listening for James Horner scores.
I saw WOLFEN on one of the large theater screens in 81 in MD... the experience and his score were just amazing. The movie remains one of my favorites to this day.
THE HAND... great horror score hands (no pun intended) down.
Now, let's not forget DEADLY BLESSING... Could someone PLEASE release this in a legit format?

I soooo agree with you! DEADLY BLESSING is a great omen-esque score, and I love the main title! It really deserves a legit and remastered release!!
Yes, the main title is beautiful... and there are several action-horror sections that really were quite spectacular...
1. The Sharon Stone sequence in the barn
2. Susan Buckner and Jeff East in the car being attacked
3. The Maren Jensen (love her) and Lois Nettleton (awesome) fight at the end...
