Great composer who I grow to enjoy more and more. An official release (expanded or whatever) of Anne of the 1,000 Days would be nice. Anybody workin on this? Any others?

For Anne of the 1,000 Days, you want the original soundtrack and the film tracks.

Music Box records has stated that there could potentially be some Delerue for 2013 and Universal France has a Delerue release for the fall.

But I don't know what the other labels have in store (and there's a lot out there both premiere and for reissue), hopefully something otherwise it would be a damn shame.

I have had that same fantasy.

Man, I ALWAYS love more Delerue. His style is so incredible, so full of vigor and life, that I simply must get whatever I can of his work.

This thread confirms my longtime suspicion that billiosis is, in fact, Cookie Monster.

Delerue is fine, but I would rather see some Goldsmith released. After all, he has only had a mere 5 titles released in the past few weeks.

Who else wants more Delerue?

A complete Anne of the Thousand Days coupled with Man for All Seasons would be nice (after a wait of almost half a century).

Two different studios so a coupling would be unlikely, but either would do just fine.

Tours du Monde, Tours du Ciel though short in duration, definitely deserves/demands some sort of release (add on?) so that Delerue fans can enjoy one of the 'master of strings' great string arrangements. Tours is sublime!

@ Maleficio: I've recently visited Roubaix and expected to find some place or some placque remembering Delerue but found nothing apart an anonymous "Rue Delerue".
Is this the exact road in which he was born?

No. He was born Rue de Valmy.

Thanks for the information. I, of course, had no clue.

HER ALIBI would be nice, but I'd prefer something much darker like PARIS BY NIGHT...
