From what I have read on here, most peoples' all time favorite scores are to older movies. So the question is .................. What movie that came out in the last 5 years has the best score?

To clarify....... I am NOT asking what was the best CD release of the last 5 years.

This is a topic I don't know much about, my interest in current theatrical releases (and the music that accompanies them) is pretty small and you might correctly guess that the ones I would be interested in aren't typical of the last 5 years.
John Carter and War Horse had some really nice music but I guess I'd pick Lincoln, I like its sound world.

I couldn't begin to determine the best, but personal favorite?

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (John Williams)

Runner-ups:
* John Carter (Michael Giacchino)
* The Ward (Mark Killian).

I like a thread like this, because in 5 years to pick a favorite I will be curious to check them all out if I have miss them. Because the odds are if someone loved them that much I probably will too, I hope we get some wide choices here, not LINCOIN over and over again.

John Powell's HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON. Probably followed by Daft Punk's TRON LEGACY.

One I listen frequently is Brian Tyler's Final Destination 5, that Main Title and the final track are particurlary adictive.

My favourite is probably Drag Me To Hell or Dream House.

Hmm. Two weeks ago I would have said Giacchino's Speed Racer, but now it's too late, so . . . maybe McCreary's Human Target -- that one certainly has been in my car's CD player since it was released and has gotten more play than any other recent score.

But there are quite a few I adore from the last five years.
