YOR gets quite amused to see how the vast majority of zimmerities are so touchy about their beloved master.

That show YOR that they are not very sure that their master is that good, otherwise they would never get so hysterical everytime someone with superior intelect bashes the abominable.

YOR, for example, loves Jerry Goldsmith but he never get angry when someone with bad taste say nasty things about him.

YOR has a lot of good arguments to defend the master. So why get so mad?

YOR feel a little sorry for all the insecure zimmerities. He can understand their pain.

Here, lets us all drink some good old dinossaur blood and be happy!

OK, let me try:

Jerigoldshit was an overrated wife-beater with an ugly pony-tail.

He didn't write much good music at all, and he didn't know what to do with a synthesizer.

Jerigoldshit is not missed by anyone with a good music-taste.

On this board, Zimmer fans have a bit more to swallow than Goldsmith fans. In the rest of the world, it's the other way 'round. Which one is worse? Such is life...

Yor, I am not a Zimmer fan, nor do I consider myself very touchy. But you are becoming a terrible bore with all this. I'm sure the fact that I have responded to your post will help fuel your ego.

YOR has no ego.

YOR just trying to understand things.

YOR humble hunter from the future trying to save makind from the clutches of Hanzimmer, the abominable.

Future events such as these will be important in the future.

YOR knows little about suffering since he only hear Hanzimmer's products from time to time.

Yor, you could try looking at the newly-resurrected thread about the classical influences in Goldsmith's work - I think you started a thread about that yourself - but the old one has more info. Channel that primitive energy into positive things. Listen to the recommendations on that thread and tell us what you think. It would be nice if you could contribute to that without making the inevitable comparisons to Hans Zimmer.

Do not worry noble forum member!

YOR is able to do all those things at the same time!

You really haven't been paying attention, or are just trolling (I suspect the later) if you think a lot of Goldsmith fans around here don't get angry in such ways.

Film score fans in general are quite touchy, it seems to me. Say anything negative about their favorite score, composer, movie, etc. and quite often they'll respond in quite a nasty fashion, calling you every name in the book. I try to refrain from doing it myself, and hope that I catch myself before doing it. But, we're all only human....

YOR are here for quite a while, even before he register, and can assure that he never saw any Goldsmith or other real composer's fans reacting the same nasty way zimmerities tend to react.

That is a fact.

What is all this "Hanzimmer"? Why can't you refer to him by his name correctly?

Whatever you think of the music or the person, referring to him any other way than using his name properly is just ridiculous.

I like some of his scores but have just seen MoS and the whole two hours were not for me!

Hanzimmer is that abominale wall of sounds producer that dominates film music industry nowadays.

You must inform yourself better!

YOR is indeed great hunter whose mighty proclamations I enjoy reading a great deal even if I do not always agree with them.

But could it be that YOR has become blindsided by his crusade against the also mighty Hans?

And would he feel touchy too if people started to turn against Jonscot?

Ock frequently seen Hornerites get plenty foul when musiclovers take cracks at him. They quite touchy too.

But even most avid Hornerite-defender know limits to anger, because criticisms are undeniable and provable.

(Heck, even Ock like some Horner, but still shakes head sadly at steals.)
