First person who guesses composer correctly will win free CD. It's not a sci-fi or horror score:

This one IS a sci-fi/horror score from the early 1960s. Quirky, but fun! And discrete stereo!

Expect three, four, or five new MMM CDs by October...

Sounds Les Baxter-ish to me, but I think that would be too obvious.

Yes, you are right about THE ATOMIC BRAIN for the second sample. I am much impressed. How'd you manage to sit through the movie in the first place? Assuming you did...

The first sample is the REALLY tough one...

No, but eventually I'll post some Paul Dunlap music, so make sure you guess "Paul Dunlap" at that time!

The Mst3k version makes it easier to watch ATOMIC BRAIN. While that exact cue might not be in it, the film music still has those noticeable flute bits - tweet...tweet...tweet.

Speaking of Mst3k, I recall them making fun of the music in (I think) "Radar Secret Service" - the music sounded like the "Oh those Golden Grahams" cookie commercial. The first sample (curiously labeled "BH" - Bernard Herrmann?) has a similar riff, so could it be either of the IMDB credited composers, Russell Garcia and Dick Hazard? I know Steve H already suggested Garcia.

BH ? Maybe "Battle Hymn" by Frank Skinner...A movie with Rock Hudson about the story of a fighter pilot during the Korean War... the sample sound a bit "asian" to me....

BH could be a lost cue from Ben Hur. wink

First piece of music...

Ronald Stein?

it does have a 'juvenile delinquency' vibe at the start, which Stein could have done
