I thoroughly recommend this extraordinary film, and the beautiful score was created by Alejandro Amenabar himself.
The performance of Javier Bardem is just astonishing, and he relies solely upon his eyes because he plays the part of a quadriplegic (in this true story). This beautiful film has won some awards and rightly so.
Haven't actually seen the film but i do have the soundtrack and its great. I love the few soundtracks that Mr Amenabar has done, particularly Abre Los Ojos and THE OTHERS. Beautiful themes that really stir the soul.
