NICE.
I missed out on the Intrada version and there was no way I was going to pay those crazy aftermarket prices. This is fantastic news indeed!

Quartet is really becoming a big player. I hope to see more awesome releases from them!

1000 seems pretty low for this one. Will probably sell out fairly quick.

Agree on both statements. Keep up the great work Quartet!

Is there any difference in tracks between the OST and Complete scores that would warrant owning both?

The Intrada is enough for me.

I agree. I just do not understand why so many titles are being re-released over and over, but people keep buying because they really are not happy with the previous releases or own the bootleg version. I have the LP and the Intrada CD. This year I have been able to save money for future releases by not buying every re-release that I already own. I am really excited for the next new unreleased score CD!

Why do you believe that the same people are buying these over and over? I'm sure there are a few obsessives, but I believe that in general, the idea is that people who don't already own the Intrada will buy this. Those who feel that 1000 is too low don't seem to be acknowledging that 1000 fans of this score already own it.

Do you not read this board or other boards? How many people posted about POLTERGEIST II that already owned the first 3 and bought the 4th one? As fast as it sold out, there had to be many people that bought multiple copies. Everyone is into upgrading. What is the longest you have had one cell phone or computer? Remastering is not a major buying point for me. I have a very good sound system in my apartment and in my car, but I do not have any program where I can test a previously released score for sound quality. I can usually hear a little difference, but not enough to buy a score multiple times.

I already have DELTA FORCE, but I like the fact that they're exploring early Silvestri synth scores. There are several of them still completely unreleased. So lots to unearth!

Kim, don't buy it.

As for other people, it's not your responsibility to worry about how they think or what they do.

Gotta be honest — I don't know this score and didn't buy the Intrada. I'll check it out, though, it's clearly well-liked.

well i don't have it and now it looks like i soon will. time to sit back though. always debate how to order quartet release and usually takes some time for them to ultimately arrive.

I still want Silvestri's Outrageous Fortune (1987). It's fun.

Hello, Kim!
Can you imagine, that there is someone in this world who don't own several titles that you already own?
For ex., I will immediately buy re-issue of FSM's Monte Walsh. Why? 'Cause in 2009 (when I went to this forum and start buying soundtracks from our boutique labels) it was already OOP. Same with Poltergeist II, The Fury and many other re-issues, which you hate (as we can understand from you posts).
But for hundreds of people this re-issues can be their first release!
In any case - any re-issue, that you don't want saves YOU money for something, that you really want! wink
Best regards!
