I was finally able to finish the Alien series. These are based on the cover art for the Blu-rays coming out next week. Each movie has a simple, generic cover, as well as a bit more complicated one with label-specific information in the lower left.
I can make a decent cover, but then it never looks that great because I've just got a regular inkjet printer.
It's not necesarily your printer. The covers I've made are really only meant for screen use and not for printing. A 1080x1080 JPEG isn't going to look that great when printed.
Once again, if someone out there can print out a copy of the Tron: Legacy back tray art and snail mail it to me, I'd be grateful. You can contact me for my address at monty39@verizon.net.
A simple, stark, graphic approach, whose covers degrade as the seasons progress. I'm unsure if anyone would really use these, as the covers are probably too similar to each other, but it was interesting to put together.
Brilliant work on BSG. The degrading series of covers is an interesting idea and fits in well with the show but the character covers are so graphically pleasing, I've got to choose them.
Your cover posts have become a highlight on this forum for me. Thank you.
A large batch of X-Files covers. First I started with a modest set of four covers for each disc of the new Volume 1 set. I had the basic design done before I saw the original cover art, and then went back and modificed things a bit to better match up with that.
Then I went nuts and created episode-specific covers for the 40 episodes featured in Volume 1.
Not shown are a few alternates for the two movies. High res at:
