Michael " The Fearmonger" Crichton was sure prescient. The Japanese have " taken over" .Just like he warned us. Haven't they?
I haven't seen the film. It has terrible reviews. But I love Toru Takemitsu!
Lucky you!.
I played this music for my wife and she love it. Then I showed her the cover and she just started laughing. It looks like another dumb buddy action adventure film from the 90s. I won't ruin the music by watching the film. I made that mistake with "Four Rooms" by Combustible Edison.
Are there any experts on this film who can tell me where the following source cues go in the sequence?
30 - (Japanese) Source music - I'm thinking this may be used in more than one location? 32 - Single Petal of a Rose
Also, does track 34, "Tsunami," appear in the film, or is it just a longer edit of the opening track?
Thanks in advance.
Can't remember where the source music goes, but "Tsunami" goes between "Board Meeting" and "Drive to Conner's Loft". Neither "Tsunami" or "Taiko Drum Opening" were written by Takemitsu. I don't think he ever wrote anything with a fast tempo that wasn't jazz or pop.

Thank you! Maybe someone else knows where the source music and "Single Petal" go.
