Btw, it's pretty safe to assume that McCreary's DEFIANCE will be part of the next batch as well, since Dark del is planning to have the signing including this one (not sure if it is supposed to be a game score or from the TV series or perhaps combination of both), while the CD still wasn't announced yet.

Or this one will be the first not available through LLL?

I love Ladyhawke, but two CDs? Defend, please. I'm looking to be convinced.

As I mentioned here
http://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=100146&forumID=1&archive=0
Amazon have it up as 22 tracks on Disc1 from the TV Show and 22 tracks on Disc2 from the Video Game.
http://www.amazon.com/DEFIANCE-Soundtrack-DELUXE-Bear-McCreary/dp/B00GP3VXSY/
So it looks like it will contain the full digital release of the TV Show, but will be missing 2 tracks from the Video Game digital release due to space on the CD.
Hopefully LLL will have copies.

Why should they have to justify their reasons to you? Maybe there were a lot of unused or alternate cues. Maybe it's got film versions and album versions. We're not privy to these details, so what? Buy it or don't buy it.

To try and get me to buy it? Also this is a discussion board? So discuss.

Maybe the complete score on one, and the original album release on the other? Not sure the details on how long the score is, or if it would fit on one disc...but throwing it out there for what it is worth.

With all the opinions that tend to pop up on this board regarding single versus double disc releases and whether they're necessary, I would love for there one day to be a two-disc release that really, truly only fits on a single disc, with the second disc being a one hour-long track full of weird sound effects and some guy with a British accent saying, "Disc numba' two," "Disc numba' two," "Disc numba' two..." big grin

Intrada did this with Masters of The Universe

I have the cassette, LP and the original expanded CD release. I didn't care for the CD playlist as the extra music was so polar opposite in style from the rest of the score. So I can't imagine I will quadruple dip. But I'll make that decision when I see the track list and hear the samples.

I mean, it's sort of a clue. We just have to figure out when MV met his wife. wink

From Facebook:

La-La Land Records

BOOM! LLLCD 1282 APPROVED!

THAT'S ONE BLACK FRIDAY TITLE DOWN!

This particular soundtrack has a deep meaning for me. It's the soundtrack to the first film I saw with my wife.

So looking at the label number Superman Returns was the first movie MV saw with his wife. Interesting. smile

At this time of the year, we usually benefit of some news from MV here about the year to come...

MV wrote this few days ago:
I have a prediction Intrada will OWN 2014, followed by Varese and its rebirth.

Kritzerland will dominate the Golden Oldies, while Music Box and Quartet will continue to surprise us all.

Perseverance and BSX will have their best year ever!

As for us...

MV

Which is both exciting and frustrating. Oh, this "As for us...", it calls for some more! wink

So may you be kind enough, MV, to tease us a little more, please?

Well, on Tuesday MV shoudl reveal what their January 14th titles are.

Beyond that, it is usually around this time that MV reveals the list of composers they hope to have titles out for in the upcoming year, hopefully he will post one of those soon. Though I suppose the label is still officially on vacation until Monday.
