I just want to give a big THANKS to whoever was the unlucky soul to have to enter all the info into Itunes and submit it the first time...it is making importing this monster a whole lot easier!

That's nice of him to do that. I bet that took him quite a while.
I will have mine this afternoon, I can't wait!
Edit: Looking at the picture it looks pretty close to the color of the gold uniform that security and engineering departments wears in TNG.
I have to laugh. Here I was, the guy who had no problem waiting and savoring the anticipation... I got an e-mail notice yesterday that the box shipped. And there is was waiting for me on the stoop. Time sure flies when you're patient. LOL
One hell of a well done set. I'm enjoying the first CD as I write this. Thanks for sharing your dream project, Lukas, and many thanks to Ron Jones and everyone else involved in this. Another home run.
Just listening to the first few episodes, it's so odd to hear the sense of mystery and sci-fi that the show started with, before it settled into chatty drama. I may be breaking out my DVDs as I go along.
Thanks I spent most of the day loading it on my computer then on my ipod, managed to listen to a few so far and its Superb, Lukas and company as usual a Super Bang up Job!! Ive got it now so Im taking my time and savoring every moment.
Ill get more pictures when the wife gets home , she knows her camera better than I do. Now the cat wants to sit in my lap, I call it life interrupting me and right now its super Star Trek good.
I'm jealous. I haven't even been able to order a copy yet. (Darn sometimes self employment sucks) It is at the top of my list though, along with whatever else is hitting Monday.
Well, I've spent the last 90 minutes uploading CDs whilst listening to the music and I have to say, I'm having a lot of fun!
From the liner notes (printed and online) to the artwork to the sound quality to the fact that you guys didn't flip any of the images (I hate when that happens and with the comm badges, it's always obvious), I have to say this Trekker is happy!
You've managed to treat Mr. Jones' music better than Paramount has treated the actual Trek films over the years.
Became a big Trek nut in middle school, right as TNG was wrapping up its last two seasons. With what little money I earned around the house and holidays / birthdays, I'd buy anything I could get my hands on. Over some time I was able to get Encounter At Farpoint, Q Who? and Where No One Has Gone Before so those are certainly the scores I'm most familiar with.
I skipped straight to Where No One Has Gone Before in the FSM set because of the nostalgia value for the odd synth plinking written for The Traveler. Its effective and very simple - and its really odd to hear it outside the episode after so many years! Fantastic sound quality though, sounds like I'm in the room during the recording.
My only regret is that I'm now so old that I can't have this music on and play with Star Trek figures anymore
I got mine today, and I am very pleased. There is a lot of music to digest! I decided to make a play list, around 80 minutes, that touches on my favorite episodes/scores. This gives me a chance to hear a reader's digest version of the set from start to finish. Here is my play list:
