I think Ten Commandments was claimed by Intrada. Doug said at one point last year that it wasn't as far along as people expected, or something, when everyone kept bringing it up.
I don't think any Golden Age release would be as ambitious as a complete (surviving) Korngold at this point. After FSM did the Rozsa box I think he's the only Golden Age composer high profile enough, with enough surviving unreleased material from a single studio to merit that treatment.
Much as I'd like there to be a Volume 2 of say, Kaper, I doubt it'll happen now that FSM closed up shop.
Pleased, if surprised, that LLLR will be doing a Thunderbirds release. Despite it being TV, it never struck me as their sort of thing.
In this case it's not the TV show so much as the two big-screen movies, which were released by United Artists (the Thunderbird 6 CD came from MGM Music). Between Silva Screen and Fanderson, the music from the TV show is pretty much covered.
So if it's a single score, what Tiomkin or Waxman ones might qualify as "ambitious"?

Giant! Giant! Giant!
On the other hand, since La La Land seems to be dealing with Sony right now, there should finally be an end to the tragic "East Of Eden" and "Rebel Without A Cause" story. It's unbelievable! Here we have some (THE?) of the most iconic movies of the 1950s - the original recordings are available - and have never been released officially (in the case of RWAC - perhaps the most important of the trio! - NEVER!).
Yes indeed ! I guess that will be the last golden age CD from Lalaland we will see this year.
Nope, definitely have one coming in September and a very ambitious one possibly out in time for our Black Friday batch...not to mention a good selection of them for 2015.

The two Franz Waxman scores I would like to see released are:
THE FURIES - from Paramount in 1950 SUNRISE AT CAMPOBELLO - from Warner Brothers in 1960
Amen to that! Hopefully first one didn't sell that bad... so we'll see at least numbers 2 and 3 released soon as well... or finally a decent version of Folk's Neverending Story II.
Hmm-as it's being offered at a knock-down price as part of the Naked Gun promo, I'm guessing it hasn't sold THAT well.
It's probably fallen victim to the curse of the comedy score. Shame-I bought it and snagged an autographed copy but even I'll admit the non-orchestral stuff isn't great-it does sound very dated 80's pop type stuff.

This is what MV had to say in last year's Black Friday thread:
Most like 2/3 will be next. There are rights issues with Part 4 due to the rock album. We'll just wait and see

I know it's nothing definitive but I'd hate to see them stop at PA1. PA2 has an overall better score (and IMHO it's actually a better movie!).

Thankfully LLL don't ask us to pay membership fees before ordering!

I wonder why PA didn't get a multi disc set like NG? It would be a shame if this was all the PA music we get. (As grateful as I am they released the first score.)
Police Academy 2, 3 and 4 features excellent music.
I agree. I hope that they can at least get Police Academy 2 and 3 released. I actually really enjoyed the first score, but 2 and 3 actually do have better music. I also think 2 is the better movie IMHO. Theses are 80's staples. I grew up watching these movies. Folk is such a good, underrated composer.

With Arrow season 2 confirmed for September, and now a golden age release as well, I hope there'll be room for B:TAS vol. 3 on the slate for that month too (as long as it's approved in time)!

I grew up watching these films as well. And I've said it a few times already but for me, PA2 and PA6 have the best music. The cues I love are the shootout at Sweetchuck's chandelier store in 2 and the car/truck chase at the end of 6.

Do we know Batman Volume 3 isn't coming in August?

Yep, MV posted the following list the other day in the 'La La Land March 2014 titles announced' thread:

Coming this Fall
Arrow Season 2 Eye for An Eye Star Trek Enterprise Batman The Animated Series Vol 3
