Wonderful work, folks! Would it be possible to interest you in doing something for LLL’s new “Colossus: The Forbin Project” CD? I never cared for the original movie posters and their attempt to co-opt Bondian imagery with the image of Kuprin reacting to being shot, Forbin and Markham embracing in bed, helicopters, etc. The dated “Op-art” design with the repeating silhouette is only slightly better but has nothing to do with the film. The worst yet is that for the Blu-ray with the same images previously mentioned emblazoned over a ghostly bald man with a glare. Sadly, this was also used for the CD. How about something that actually involves the computer? The scrolling red light display was so prominent in the film. Why couldn’t that have been used to spell out “Colossus: The Forbin Project”? Add in Forbin standing at one of the interfaces, the classic triangle, the voice unit, etc. for a great cover. Anyway, enough of my whining. I’d do it myself, but I no longer have any photo software on my laptop and I can’t install any either. Thanks for listening!

I realize it's something of a project, but has anyone tackled covers for the Max Steiner: The RKO Years set?
