There will probably end up being several found once the smoke clears. FYI the one marked "(FSM Expanded)" will give you the tracks right off the PQ mastering metadata... assuming it ever shows up.
Petrox Marching Band is crack cocaine. My itunes play count is well above a hundred. Anyone who gets a lift in my car or spends more than 10 minutes in my apartment now have it on repeat in their head 24 hours a day, myself included. Cannot stop. Instant happiness.

Alas, I can only play the sample because I'm exercising financial discipline ahead of the LLL STAR TREK box. A great thing about Barry is that he would throw himself into a cue like this with so much effort, really get something cooking and not treat it as a throwaway piece.
After watching the film again last night, I noticed the scene where Dwan falls into the tanker (Dwan Falls) there seems to be dialogue that has been removed from the audio. She appears to be talking to Kong saying something like "It's alright." or something. Does anyone have any info on this?
Also placed alt. night wall and alt Trap towards the middle.
I think the first 20 seconds or so of "Trap alt" we're also used in the extended TV cut as the search party approach the log bridge just before "Ravine". That's we're I've placed it anyway. Works well.
Folks, LOTS of people have entered the track titles for KK and Body Heat but for some strange reason they still don't show up.
This happened a few years ago. For a month or two, new entries in Gracenote stopped appearing. Then it was corrected. If Gracenote ever acknowledged this downtime, I didn't see it. But it's a free service, so what can you do?
Incidentally, Gracenote did retrieve the track titles for "Body Heat" for me. I don't yet own "King Kong." But I've noticed several new CDs don't have track titles, many more than would usually slip through the cracks.

I've done it, Mike M has done it, other people above have done it.
Strange. Makes me wonder how it actually recognizes a CD.
Cheers
I make a lot of CD's of stuff I record off the radio (yes I know, I'm captain sadness!) & Gracenotes identifies some of them as some weird & wonderful CD's, so I'm guessing they must use track times to identify the CD.
Night Wall Part 2. ; there is a 5 note bass line motif during the crescendo playing underneath all the percussion, chanting and brass chords. This is so cool. I could always hear this in the film but never on the original album. If I am ever unfortunate enough to be sacrificed to a giant ape, this is the music I want to go out with.
Wow, I thought I was the only one to get a kick out of that 5 note bass line at the end of "Night Wall pt 2". It's truly powerful stuff, although I still wish the line itself was mixed louder. On the other side, the "Day Wall" cue is amazing. Barry never liked to imitate native american music (he refused to in Dances with Wolves) but this cue certainly sounds like it could belong to "A man called horse". The dissonant chanting behind the drumming is fantastic!!
