Regarding "Fight On The Wing Continues". I almost thought that what ended up on the DH2 Deluxe Edition was the version recorded for Die Hard With A Vengeance. It contains the music from the sex scene of Simon Gruber and that crazy chick.
Wow! What a brilliant action score! The 2 disc set really elevates the music. So much better than the original release and more entertaining than Die Hard.
This score has suddenly dropped into my top five Kamen scores. Brilliant stuff.
This is my #1 most played score right now - in particular, fight on the wing part 1 and 2. I listen to those two tracks do damn loud while I'm driving. Big, brash action music like that is sorely missing in films these days.
I cannot get enough. A monumental improvement over the original.
It's so freaking great to have the "Zombies" cue at last (almost complete) in a clean version! Finally I don't need to listen to the distorted version anymore, haha!
Also the middle section of "Fight On the Wing Part 1" is such a kick ass cue.
BTW did you notice that the piano is missing in those two cues? Might have been a solely recorded overlay.
I noticed piano while watching that scene. Must have been added late in the game, maybe to patch up some of the music edits they made. Also noticed a really brief synth line as the bad guys first approach the church. Poor Kamen's music always gets chopped up, looped, moved around or dropped entirely.
I would have loved to be the percussion player on the Wing cue.
Thanks for posting that deal. I was so bummed when I missed out on it from Varese. Now I will have it in my collection and will have paid half the price too. And here I thought my luck was always against me.
How much you want to bet he's actually selling the original OST and put the DE cover up by mistake
Have you bought CDs from healthydealsdaily before? I have. That and his neutral/negative feedback score is nil.
Yeah, that was the biggest reason why I took a chance on it. It clearly states what is being sold in the description and the seller's positive feedback is through the roof.
I've purchased a few CDs from this seller in the past month. Everything was legit and listed correctly. The discs were all Varese - must have been some overstock that was getting sold off cheap.

I've been buying off him for a couple of months and everything (about 25 CDs) has been kosher.
I've noticed that some of the CDs start off at RRP then if he doesn't sell them they start to drop quickly.
He had a pile of Enemy Mines recently going cheap but they flew out-I managed to get an Escape from the Planet of the Apes for £6 the other day and Family Plot as well, amongst others.
