Yay! Got mine today and will be listening to it tonight. And great news about the remaining 30 that were freed up. I hope those who were sore about missing out on a copy are able to grab one this time.

The title will go live at midnight tonight and stay live until the remainder of the abandoned copies are sold, which won't take very long.

Can you put two aside until we find out what happened to mine?

I have separate emergency copies for lost in mail. My helper won't be able to get your tracking info until she gets home this evening - then we'll see where the hangup is. What usually happens is that it sits in some hub somewhere - we lodge a complaint and demand our money for both shipping and product - and then magically it makes its way to wherever it needs to - happens every time.

Thanks Bruce!!

Listening to the final track: The Laura Suite - Theme and Variations. Absolutely gorgeous. Thanks Bruce!

Listening to the final track: The Laura Suite - Theme and Variations. Absolutely gorgeous. Thanks Bruce!

I like the suite. I notice the Main Title as presented in the suite has clear breaks between its sections, whereas the other version is segued together. After hearing the main program with its pleasingly crisp sound, I was surprised that the suite sound was so close in quality, with maybe just a touch more hiss. After playing the disc three or four times, I'm thinking the suite is my preferred listen.

Yes, it's nice to have the option of either the individual tracks or the suite. Both have something different to offer.

I think she'll be reappearing a thousand times over pretty soon. Has any Kritzerland release cried out for another run as loudly as this one?
I see someone is selling it on eBay for $50, and has the nerve to mark that price as being a "50% Off" reduction.

Could you keep one copy for me too, please?
I´d love to combine it with 1-2 more CDs if possible... (definitely one of those would be the upcoming Waxman) smile

Hi,

When will be available approximately the CD of "My geisha" by Franz Waxman?

One of the best music of Waxman is for "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde". It´s possible the release by Kritzerland in the future?

Thanks

If we end up doing an Encore Edition it won't be for a while.

Many thanks for the wonderful release of this magic score. And i just love the way the piano breaks in to at 2'49 track 9 -- i don't recall this classy touch featuring the suite.

I listened to “Laura” last night – this is one of my favorite scores and to have it in this form seems almost surreal. The sound quality, for the age of the recordings, is amazing. Lush, detailed. Very beautiful. Thank you for this superb release.

Very funny. I think the only thing I'd get from the Pony Express is a big steaming pile of horseshite on my front porch with a non-delivery notice that says, "Sorry we missed you."

If this were to happen in the future, it will be with us. But we had a cancellation (well not exactly - someone ordered a bunch of copies, then disappeared), so we have about thirty left - I think I'm going to make it live again tomorrow and the first people to get there get them. I think that's the fair way. Olivier, I will hold one for you if you like.

Oh yes oh yes oh yes!
Please do so, Bruce!
I'm writing you right now !

It must be a solidarity thing because I just received mine as well! I'm so excited! Now I can leave it sitting on a shelf for the next 20 years, still shrink wrapped, without ever having listened to it. Just kidding. It's being imported into my computer as I type!
