dan, ok, we get it, you like the pretty themes of Georges Delerue. Why not search out the titles you keep mentioning and resurrect those old threads, if there are any, so we can see what you and others think about those scores too? Just a thought
TO KEV- Good idea, but we do not want to clog up the board here. I remember what the wise THOR, said to me a few years back. Try to keep one thread with polite action. if and I wouldn't expect anyone to really notice you will see over time I don't have a lot of threads mostly long threads for this reason. With me it basically comes down to often responding to other people's threads, for sure if no one else is responding so that person does not feel neglected and put out what I feel are info threads on film music and the entertainment Industry. This thread may seem a little basic to some, but if a few people dig a few of these titles out maybe they will find some enjoyable music. I am sorry if there is a misunderstanding my friend, but saying we get it would be more appropo for someone who loaded the whole board with 5 or 10 things on Delerue or on film composers birthdays etc etc, I am just holding my own little space here, even though for years like many of us attacks are constant. PEACE whatever that really is.
No worries mate. I didn't wanna come off all Topic Police My wording wasn't the best and apologies if it sounded somewhat aggressive...certainly not meant. I prefer to try and search out an old thread, if one is available and add my thoughts about a particular score to it. If I canna find one, I usually create a new one (which sometimes gets some attention, other times not). It's your finger and keyboard and there ain't no rules here (well, about enthusiasm anyway). Peace Out !
MAXIE-86-GEORGES DELERUE-This score always seems to work wonders on me. One of the most energetic scores I ever heard. Beautiful and robust. a classic.
