ONE STEP BEYOND- This TV show from the early 60's narrated by JOHN NEWLAND, had a wonderful tuneful haunting theme.Independent international and Sam Sherman reused the theme later in 2 of their films BLOOD OF GHASTLY HORROR and NURSE SHERRI.

And thanks to Mr. Smith for recommending that Morton Stevens TV movie score which I have not yet heard; Stevens' beautiful, eerie score for string chamber ensemble and female voice for "Pigeons From Hell" has haunted me ever since it was first broadcast on THRILLER.

Busy world, but i should not have stop with this thread. Try to keep it going now, hope others would like too. It is not a fleeting topic, it really is a epic topic, history of nice pretty music in sense of wonder films.

By the way, I noticed several Alex North scores cited, but I don't think anybody mentioned THE BAD SEED with its lovely lullaby.

CRAWLSPACE-86- PINO DINOGGIO (sic)-

Definitely. Terrific score. Love the bombastic main title and "Martha's Lament", which is truly beautiful.
