I think there are still some incorrect takes used on the expanded album...plus, it'd be nice to have a 2-CD set with the original 1982 re-recording as well plus any alternates that may exist.
I didn't even KNOW about CHASE ME until yesterday, and I even own the Batwoman DVD. But anyway, Warners has it up on youtube for our ongoing viewing pleasure.

Groovy tune but the music doesn't fit the action whatsoever. Would love to see this short re-scored with dramatic music.

Sure it fits. Maybe not your preferred choice, but they went for something different (and I admire that). The short (which I only just watched) is not playing to the dramatic tension (will Batman succeed?) but rather yet another night in the cat-and-mouse relationship between Batman and Catwoman. The short suggests this nightlife is something Batman (er… Bruce) finds exciting, much more so than another stuffy party. Hence, the jazz score for the chase.
It would not have been hard to slap yet another brooding, orchestral accompaniment onto this short, and I'm sure many Bat-fans would have preferred it, but that's not what they were going for here.
