My vote for a complete Williams is Jurassic Park. Even better having all 3 remastered and expanded.

Isn't E.T. pretty complete as is?

I think there are still some incorrect takes used on the expanded album...plus, it'd be nice to have a 2-CD set with the original 1982 re-recording as well plus any alternates that may exist.

I didn't even KNOW about CHASE ME until yesterday, and I even own the Batwoman DVD. But anyway, Warners has it up on youtube for our ongoing viewing pleasure.

Hasn't Spacecamp been done twice by Intrada, and still available?

And sold out both times and not the full score, though as I recall reading it's nearly all of it.

second reissue by intrada is still available.

The only missing cue is the "approaching Daedalus" fanfare (less than a minute).

and still missing are the Joseph Williams songs :

Oh, right you are. I thought I remembered it going bye-bye last year.

I better edit my post before somebody comes in and tells me I have a bad memory and need to just stop posting. ;-)

I hope that La La Land tease forthcoming DC animated, Star Trek and X-Files titles at WonderCon, as well as their likely release dates! smile

Groovy tune but the music doesn't fit the action whatsoever. Would love to see this short re-scored with dramatic music.

We might hear some things announced or hinted at. I'll ask tomorrow about anything coming down the pipe.

Sure it fits. Maybe not your preferred choice, but they went for something different (and I admire that). The short (which I only just watched) is not playing to the dramatic tension (will Batman succeed?) but rather yet another night in the cat-and-mouse relationship between Batman and Catwoman. The short suggests this nightlife is something Batman (er… Bruce) finds exciting, much more so than another stuffy party. Hence, the jazz score for the chase.

It would not have been hard to slap yet another brooding, orchestral accompaniment onto this short, and I'm sure many Bat-fans would have preferred it, but that's not what they were going for here.
