I dunno, I'm at work and it's at home. Probably be a few days before I listen to it, got game one of the NBA Finals tonight and date night with the Mrs. tomorrow night.
And since I'm already familiar with the music I'm sure it will great.
Well, I got the soundtrack, imported it into iTunes, gave the tracks a good listen, and nope. Couldn't find anything to complain or criticize about. I'm actually surprised that Spock's voice over wasn't included in the main title, but I'm glad it didn't. It's the music baby!
5/5
Now to create that missing track by splicing "The Klingon's Plan" with "Spock Endures Pon Farr". That will be fun.
My CD of Trek III arrived in Rockville, Md. today. Thank you to all who worked on this, and another thank you for not putting that annoying seal tape along the top of the case as some others do.
Over here. My wife poked her head into the study, said "you have a package" and I knew what it was. Like a fricking child I bounded out, opened the envelope, let out a little squeak of glee over the conclusion of a 26 year old wait, then popped it into the CD player. I'm halfway through, and I'm LOVING this! Even the cues I've had on album since the original release are wonderful to revisit in context. I am seconds from the two cues I've been dying for, "A Fighting Chance to Live" and "Genesis Destroyed." So, gotta go. ;-)
