Because its september and we're recalling the anniversary of the Blitz on TV, I've gone for Goodwin's Battle of Britain today.

Its got me in the mood for a victory roll over the airfield.

"...How many hours in Spits, Simon...?"

"... Ten and a half, sir...."

".....Let's make it ELEVEN, before JERRY has you for breakfast...."

sorry - not smart enough to post a pic!

I didn't intend to listen to three scores in a row by the same composer (or from films starring the same actor), it just sort of happened that way. LOL!

I have had that happen at times too. there are days when I try not to listen to multiple Goldsmith scores. But they are close at hand or the random play on one of the players hits a score I haven't listened to in a while....and you end up like I did the other day with ST First Contact and ST Insurrection within the same 24 hour period.

Another great Conti. Reminds me of the grandeur of Superman: The Movie.

I got that in the La-La Land goodies bag at the FFM event. I don't like Conti myself, but I'm going to give it an open minded listen this weekend. Heck, it was free, can't hurt!

disc 2 nerrrrr.
huh?

its okay Gary I was just jesting mate. You said disc 1, so I wrote I was playing 'disc 2 nerrr' like in "disc 2, so there, hah, beat that!" - just a silly way of being childish, like harmless trumping.
But it worked better when there was no pic.
And its also more spontaneous, of course, when you dont have to explain your humour. Clearly, it wasnt very funny in the first place.
And not very well executed.
I'll try better next time.
Cant help the peculiar sense of humour.
Comedy geniuses dont have to explain their humour like this!!

That's also a joke - just in case there is anyone who thinks I genuinely think Im funny.
