The damn thing hasn't even been officially released and you all are wanting "what's next" rather than being appreciative that the original tracks are coming out after 50-plus years.
Jeff, maybe you can tell me more about this import cd that I thought WAS the original film version. Is the Intrada different than this one?
From the contents it's a European rip of the RCA CD, but includes two tracks taken, it seems, from the DVD. The Intrada will be a revelation, and will include the complete four-minute finale, including that fabulous transition to the choral version of Moon River.

JB Fan: Re: "It's Harkit! Do I need say something else?"
You and Harkit! You sure have a thing for them! I was playing my Harkit CD of Barry's "The Dove" yesterday (which you ripped apart) and continue to have no problems with it!
Some Harkit releases are legitimate and use master tapes but a lot are legally dubious and use LP transfers.
I would be very surprised if 'The Dove' is anything more than an LP transfer, despite Ron's satisfaction with it.
Much Harkit product sounds awful to my ears, for instance the Dudley Moore score for Bedazzled is the pits.
As others have said. their Breakfast at Tiffany's release uses someone elses CD as the master for most tracks and then include a few rips from the DVD for the 'new' material'. They are probably using the EU 50 year rule as cover, as they did with the first two Bond scores they released (Dr.No and From Russia With Love'
Anyway, the main thing is that at last, after 53 years 'Breakfast At Tiffany's is finally going to be done properly.
Peter: Re: "Anyway, the main thing is that at last, after 53 years 'Breakfast At Tiffany's is finally going to be done properly." Exactly.
But I did want to say that I listened very carefully to the Harkit "Dove" specifically listening for LP surface noise and never found any. So who knows? And sorry about the Dudley Moore -- wasn't his version of "Bedazzled" the greatest???

Taken from Dudley Moore's tapes. Lots of imperfections. Hardly the real deal.
Let me know when a good version of Bedazzled comes out and I'll be happy to buy it.
Just getting in the mood for tomorrow's release of the original tracks for Henry Mancini's wonderful score!!. This track is, of course, from the rerecorded original album but does occur in the film, I think as source music so a slightly different version should appear on the new CD
I have not found an samples of this recording. Do they exist? Do we know for a fact that it contains the main title cue as heard in the film? Stereo? I can find no information on this recording. If anyone can direct me, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
