Not just the score, the movie looks fantastic too.

Agreed. The visuals are stunning. Score sounds really great too. Love that Horner uses a strong theme.

Looks pretty good indeed. Sumptuous visuals remind me of this directors' earlier film, THE BEAR. Love that swirling horn theme Horner has devised here; I hope that gets a lot of air time!

Ditto. Seems that when it comes to composing for films, Horner is more himself these days.

To celebrate the fourth collaboration between James Horner and Jean-Jacques Annaud, we decided to dedicate a series of articles to them, through February. Feel free to share them on the social networks, and to comment them in the space reserved at the bottom of each article.

The content of the Horner / Annaud dossier is:

1 – Enemy At The Gates: Once Upon a Time In The East. By Jean-Christophe Arlon.

Happy reading!

There was a small article in this month's french version of Premiere.
Jean-Jacques Annaud mentioned the importance of the score in the movie and his collaboration with James Horner.

Is this only for Europe? When I visited, I got an error saying that service was not available in my area.

Any ideas how to legally obtain these tracks in North America when they release?

There's been no domestic release announced yet. I imagine when it is, we'll get the skinny on which platforms the album will be made available.

Jason, I think that's the book and not the CD. They mention Horner but it's in the booksection.
