I surely thought I had missed out on the autographed copies, I started watching Texas chainsaw 2 audio commentary (which is excellent with Tom Savini & Bill Mosely by the way) and totally lost track of time, so I ordered an hour late but was very pleased to read Harrison 'over'signed . Got my shipping confirmation, can't wait for the crate to arrive!
No. We don't make any announcements on this board until the item goes on sale. We use our Facebook page to communicate with our customers as much as possible now.
Gotcha, sorry to perpetuate any confusion about the release/announce dates - its what I get bouncing between Facebook and FSM being a smat' ass :-( ;-)
Eternal Light from The Crate. ..to quote a buddy of mine, freakin wow.... That only is worth admission. Eerie as hell electronic cue that Harrison seemed to have based some of his episode score on. Way cool.
Excellent release! Creepshow never sounded this good. Very pleased and hoping that with the success of this release that La-La Land will consider looking into some sort of library music collection concerning Creepshow's television successor "Tales From The Darkside" (which utilized the same library tracks that were used in Creepshow and were some that found their way onto this expanded soundtrack) or even another CD dedicated to the library music of Creepshow. To have even more of the tracks that didn't make it on this release would be so great to have and would compliment this already awesome disc would be wonderful.
Listening today. It is overall wonderful, but sparked a few questions...
Are there alternate takes between the album masters and the film cues? Track 9 (Henry Meets Nate and Gets Crushed) always sounded different to me in the film (when the tombstone is about to topple). And Track 17 (Richard Watches Them Drown) in the film is longer, with a few more stingers and extensions as Leslie Nielson is having a good chuckle at Danson's misfortune. Is that film take an alternate? Does the recording still exist?
Also the mix of the high end piano towards the end of Track 6 (Where’s My Cake? I Want My Cake!) sounds a bit lower than before. In fact, it seems almost missing. (around 1:10)
Anyone else notice these things, or am I listening too hard? I don't mean to come across as nitpicky, but it is my favorite horror film.

I agree that track 9 is not the film version. The piano sounds very different. Isn't it interesting that Nate The Zombie seems to have telekinetic powers to pull the headstone over from a distance?
Got mine yesterday. I really appreciated the speedy delivery!!! The last time I pre-ordered something, I didn't receive it until nearly a month after the release date.
I listened to some of it on the way to work this morning. Love this score. I want to watch the movie again now!!
