A simple error, no problem to any of us really. I'm hoping it's a good omen and that we'll be seeing some more Elmer Bernstein releases from Intrada soon!

Wow, some real swift soundtrack aficionados here, really. Hopefully Mr. LeBlanc was just in a big ol' hurry to be the first to post about the release, because if Intrada did this we really will have to go brain someone over there. SUMMER of '42/THE PICASSO SUMMER Composed and Conducted by ELMER BERNSTEIN INTRADA Special Collection Vol. 286 Okay, aficionados, what's wrong with this picture?
Checked the Intrada site - this one's on Mr. LeBlanc, I'm afraid. Hurrying is never a good idea. Cutting and pasting is an even worse idea.
With all due respect Bruce, I do not understand what you are accusing me of. Did you really think I erased Michel Legrand and typed Elmer Bernstein myself? All I did was copy and paste what Roger posted on his forum. Please, follow this link and see for yourself: http://www.intrada.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6397 As you can see, as soon as I noticed his mistake, I pointed it out to him in his forum, and edited the main post here. This was my error, not Jason's. Well, then as I said in my initial post, we all need to brain you. I did say that in my initial post, but Mr. LeBlanc was long gone by then and apparently didn't bother checking this thread until today?

Regardless of the error on the announcement this is a thrilling release.

Bruce, do you have something against me? I didn't do anything wrong here, and even went back and corrected my main post when the typo was discovered. What's the big deal?

If by "brain" you mean provide me with a new, fresher more functional brain, bring it on. Name the time and place.

While we've got Intrada's attention....... any chance of getting Legrand's "Our Time" score released? That theme is gorgeous. Getting OUR TIME would be lovely...would have gone great with SUMMER OF '42, given that OUR TIME is a period coming-of-age drama, made to capitalize on the success of SUMMER OF '42. Both films were produced by Richard A. Roth and both were released by Warner Bros. I have a 45 of the "Theme to Our Time," which is the only official release of any music from the film.
