I’m not 100% but John Williams’ E.T appeared pretty much in the film as written I believe. "E.T. is Alive" is tracked earlier in the film when Elliot shows off his toys to E.T.

alien 3 is tracked - open the chest scene has Music from candles in the wind Wreckage and rape is heard before dillon’s death Nope. Both are instances of original music that only sound similar to cues that were included on the MCA album

Two thirds of End Of A Dream wasn't used as it was intended (it was cut completely) so I don't see how Total Recall can make your list. That's "dialing out" music. Dialing out is not the same as tracking music.

Well, marcato, you were right; judging by the new material on the LLL release, there were instances of tracked music in Alien³ so I'll take that off my list, along with Terminator 2 (I remember that the SE repeats earlier music for the brain surgery/CPU scene) As far as new contenders, I think Terry Gilliam is pretty lenient with how he treats music in his films. Brazil, 12 Monkeys, and The Fisher King have no tracked music from what I recall. Other contenders: The Patriot American Beauty Beverly Hills Cop Beverly Hills Cop II

Heat Six months later.... Nope, EG scored the “Hand in Hand” finale based on Mobys God Moving Over the Face of the Waters from the temp score. Mann ended up using Mobys track, alas a worse version with a strange major key shift that ruins the mood. EG’s piece was rearranged as the funeral in Michael Collins. Amazing cue. Can’t fathom Mann didn’t dig it. I also recall a lot of the score on the boot score album not in the film. EDIT: so I guess it was just not used, not retracted in a different place. My bad.
