Heheh now I know what he meant with " There is another project I cannot really talk about, it is kind of in the world of Star Trek and it is a very traditional orchestral score. So it will be very interesting to see what people make of that!" during my interview with him :-)
It was listed like that when the movie was supposed to be released at the beginning of december... since then the movie has been delayed until later this year (limited release only on December 25th in the U.S.) and then wide release on January 5th, the score release got delayed as well... I had my copy pre-ordered from Poland and according to them it is also listed as January 5th release for now... Perhaps it will be available digitally a bit sooner.. in the meantime there is a few samples online
ALL THE MONEY also had CD release initially listed as December 22nd (the date the movie is set to open in theatres)... but I see Amazon UK has changed the release date for January 12th. But in this case there is no limited/wide release nonsense so it is very likely it will be available digitally sooner and CD a bit later - since the album was just mastered 2 days ago and I have just posted the tracklist
I will definitelly keep updating the website with the most recent information I can find.
Its seems Pemberton is getting loads of work lately, which is good-news for him branching out means more experience, I haven't gotten around yet listening to any new Pemberton scores, but I will do soon.
some of them have been completed a while ago and are just getting released...
USS CALLISTER was recorded in early July MOLLY'S GAME recorded in early August ALL THE MONEY finished recording on October 29th
Not to mention that MARK FELT score is also getting released on CD early February!
But he has been very busy with SCARBOUROUGH and upcoming OCEAN'S 8 and also has new videogame score coming up KNIGHTS AND BIKES... so there should be a plenty to look forward to next year...
