I hope you enjoyed Daimajin Original Soundtrack (CINK-27-28-29). I'll finally get it in October.
I've listened to disc one and it is a big bold score, not surprinsingly. I should be able to to get through the set over the weekend. Can't wait I'll venture a guess and say this set is definitely up your alley. (am I wrong in assuming you have a previous release?).

I'm definitely familiar with the scores, as well as the films.
I was originally going to get the set back in December, but I had to get Daiei Yokai Trilogy Original Soundtrack (CINK-40-41-42).

Expensive, but worth it. I actually bought another album, Japan's Longest Day Original Soundtrack (CINK-12), earlier today. Another good score from Masaru Sato.
All three Daimajin scores are damned good. However, I'm always debating which of the three scores is the best. I'm torn between the first and the third. My favorite cue from the three scores, Hell Valley (DB 5), happens to be from the third score.
