I´d love that release, too.

What about a crowd funding enterprise for this? Would that raise enough money?

The Rocky series music seems to have fallen into the crevasse between "small enough to let a boutique soundtrack label release it" and "big enough for a major record label to take an interest." It's a deep hole to be in.

I'm with you guys a Rocky box set is needed. Never understood that the biggest franchises in film history like Rocky and The Godfather never had their respected treatments.

I´m afraid you´re perfectly right. The Bond scores have the same problem - both distributed by MGM, right?

Somebody, possibly Intrada or LLLR's, said something about it in the last few months. It wasn't possible (I don't recall if there was a specific reason given).

I would love a box set, but would settle for individual releases, especially for ROCKY V and ROCKY BALBOA.

Lukas, MV, Intrada, someone... please either throw us a bone or tell us to move on. I can’t live like this!

They have told us to move on. It's come up a few times over the years. Of course, anything can change. But they have answered in the past.

There really are only a few box sets from film series: "Lethal Weapon," "Superman," "Karate Kid," "Indiana Jones," maybe a couple of others. No Bond, no Star Wars or Star Trek, no Harry Potter or Harry Palmer, no Matrix, Terminator, Pink Panther, etc. So I don't know why there would be an assumption that a Rocky box should be a gimme.

Of course, at one point, we would have thought the same about "Breakfast at Tiffany," to name but one.

I don't read or remember every thread on here. With that said, I'll be on my way.
