I paid double the amount of Spartacus when I hunted down one of my Grails and it was a LP release.

Actually, I have another question... the DVD. Is it region-free, or are non-Americans who buy this in for a nasty surprise if they try to play it?

So let's see, how many complaints can we get from this?
-Price
-Package size
-Mono (isn't the...ahem...in stereo?)
-Redundancy
-"Stupid cover versions"
-"Worthless" DVD
-Anything in Thor's brain

-Missing 50 Cent's variation of love theme.

Egads! This release is appalling! I'm willing to bet that no thought has gone into making these six discs a coherent listening experience. NO SALE.

(See what I did there? big grin)

I do like all the work that went into it but it's still 18 $ a disc which will mean it will be around for quite some time.

$18 a disc but the DVD and book are free?

Maybe it's $2 a disc, and a free DVD, but the book is outrageously overpriced?

Or everything's free but the first disc, which costs $110?

Will this become another JG at 20th Century Fox? I would be shocked if it sells out in a month.

Looks like more clips have popped up on the Varese page, including some of the variations on the love theme.

Schiffy, I'm looking at it from the listening perspective. That book and dvd might be fun, but how many times do you watch or read those things anyway?
