AND WHAT ABOUT NOW, MV?? ANY PLANS FOR A BATMAN & ROBIN CD AT THIS TIME??

Any answer from MV would be a catch-22. If LLL is working on B&R, given the lessons learned with letting the cat out of the bag too early on BatForever, he would be wise not to say anything now. I'd like to think that because a long winded discussion of why it isn't happening hasn't been posted (as is often the case when a score is deemed unreleaseable), means it will happen one day, but it could be a while.

Patience is the hard part, I know. :-) The fact that we got a complete Batman Forever is a miracle in itself and we can swim in that 2.5 hours of music until B&R, if ever, is ready to come out of the oven.

We would love to do it, to complete the set, but there are no plans at this time

MV already stated in one of the BATMAN FOREVER threads that no one should hold their breath for BATMAN & ROBIN on disc anytime soon, the same obstacles exist that prevent LLL from releasing it.

Hopefully FOREVER sells out and sparks interesting in the right owners to release even a single disc score album.

Can't you just point to the existing Batman & Robin CD and "expand" it? It does have a small portion of Goldenthal's score and if one of the issues is having to include the previous release on the CD, I can put up with the Smashing Pumpkins just to get the rest of the score...

Was the bit of score on the B&R disc actually from B&R? I've listened to it and it sounds like a mix of the main titles and Batterdammerung from Forever. I also recall seeing (probably somewhere on this board) that the music was indeed recycled and that not a single note of the B&R score was ever legitimately released.

That's entirely up to WB Legal and open to interpretation as the remaining music was used in Batman and Robin...

I'm not sure what you mean. Orion is right -- the score selection on the "Batman & Robin" CD is from "Batman Forever," so no music from "Batman & Robin" has ever been commercially released. No interpretation needed there.
