I've yet to see this film, nor have I heard the score before, but judging by Poledouris' track record with this sort of genre, and the samples, it's now a must buy for me.

Its a great score. Really works well as an extension of Conan without copying it.
This caps off the year quite nicely for me. First Intrada gave us ROBOCOP, then Tadlow gave us the complete CONAN THE BARBARIAN, and now Intrada has given us FLESH & BLOOD.
The mind reels at the thought of what 2011 will bring...

I'm happy for ya Sarge!I know you're a big Poledouris fan. I love his QUIGLEY DOWN UNDER score.
As someone who was disappointed by both the sequencing (additional cues after the Varese Club arrangement) and sound quality of the extra music on the Prometheus CD, I'll likely grab this before it's gone. Superb score.
I'm wondering if I should order now: I love every Poledouris I've heard, but funds aren't the best. Then again, how fast will a 2000-copy Flesh+Blood move? If folks seem to think this is a fast sell-out, I'll go ahead and grab one.
I've owned a foreign pressing of the Varese edition for year, not knowing whether it was a "shoefoot" or not, as it was paired with Cherry 2000, but regardless, this is simply a stellar Poledouris score and a marvelous score in its own right. Probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite score from Basil, along with CONAN, ROBOCOP and FAREWELL TO THE KING. Maddeningly memorable.
