Some of us have waited thirty years of more for some of these things. Surely, an extra week or two can't hurt can it?

Well, I can wait for another one-two week. But I would like to have guarantees from post service that I will receive a package at last.
In Russia delivery terms for international correspondence aren't established now, and I don't know - where my package now: in a warehouse, at customs, at somebody the house frown
And 6 months ago there were accurate terms - delivery of all international correspondence takes 4 weeks (usually left for 14 days for my region). It is very insulting - many sellers from e-bay, amazon refuse to deal with Russia. And I understand them, because of separate bureaucrats and swindlers, fair people suffer.

I agree Stephen, it is however very frustrating that stuff goes astray in the post, especially at this time of year. My la la land has gone AWOL ( my cousin in London received his and his was shipped after mine) & I'm also waiting for a data cable for my parents laptop. Julie is awaiting 2 business cheques that she must pay into her business account before the holidays. It isn't just cd's that are affected this time of year.

Yes I'm just happy that something I've waited 30+ years has been released, just a little frustrated that I cant listen to it when I actually have some time off work to do so!

One of the perils of mail-order; the transit time of my orders has doubled in the past 2 years - I get them (yay!) but it takes time. Patience is a must for all fans and collectors...

Also great news re La La's fast sell of these titles (not surprised) - means more in the future.

We blew out of the first 3000 Trek's and have 1000 more coming in on Monday. Those 1000 are all spoken for and the last 1000 (of the 5000 run) will be in around Jan 2.

Batman Returns and Home Alone 1st batch are all gone. . . 2000 to start with. 500 Batman Returns came in today and another 500 Home Alones will be in stock next week.

The first 1500 Jades are just about gone, with another 500 coming in later next week, beginning of the following week along with the last 500 Human Targets.

Since Nov 30 we shipped out nearly 10,000 units of all our titles. We were prepared for the demand, but HOT DAMN, the demand was greater than we had initially anticipated. lol

More units of Trek, BR and Home Alone are on the way. SAE may have them back in stock by Dec 23.

Best,
MV

Could I know when approximately will Intrada receive copies of Batman Returns as I ordered from them. Thanks for the info MV.

Gee whiz, some of you people need to get other hobbies or activities to occupy you while you wait... like work, friends, travel, going out, dating, etc etc. At the end of the day, these are just CDs and they will arrive when they arrive. I just don't see the point of whining here on the board if it's only been 2 weeks since you ordered.

I'm game for all those things! Do you think my wife will object to me dating, though?

Ha! My The Whisperers / Equus was lost somewhere in boundless spaces of Russian Post...
So I wait for new Casino Royale-67 from Kritzerland. I have offered Bruce Not to send replacement now, but wait for my next order (all the same it will be cheaper for him).
Also I hope, that new package will be with tracking number - so my "favourite" Russian Post couldn't lose my CD's with any impunity!

ever heard of the poor quality of Italian posts? I think we can win the match

forget what I said,
a gorgeous box (with EQUUS, FIRST BLOOD, PATTON and so on inside) has just arrived good and safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You think you've got problems, I'm still waiting for First Blood. Three weeks ago it was sent.

Must... have... Jerry.

Ooh never mind, First Blood arrived today! :-)

You can kill a lot of time spent waiting and complaining by asking friends and neighbors if they need any help during the holiday season. It's a great time-waster and it actually does a little good in the world! Or would you rather these tiny soundtrack dealers employ five times as many people so they can process all their orders and pass along those salaries to you? If you've waited 15 years for your favorite score to come out, one would think waiting a few weeks or even a month isn't going to kill anybody... Just a few thoughts.

Hey guy, isn't that. The fact is that I waited to Intrada announcing their lastest releases to get one of those, Poltergeist, Sunset Boulevard, Batman Returns in just one package to Spain.

What scared me is the fact that Elfman score appears as out of stock at the moment and it is gonna delay all the thing. I thought it was gonna be easy solved but still got no news about it and La La Land stuff are going on holidays soon.

I can understand how difficult it can be if you're shipping to a non-USA location, but I am sure your order is safe and secure regardless. And these guys need a break a too! As MMM pointed out, it's only a few of them at each label running the whole show, no large staffs, so they do the best they can as fast as possible but they're just human beings and there is bound to be delays. Just relax.

absolutely but I also should point out that I am going on holidays and I placed my order to be sent to where I am spending my holidays. The delay on Batman Returns is unfortunately delaying the whole thing and I may not be able of enjoy the whole package during holidays...

MV, when will Intrada approximately recieve new copies? Thanks for news.

Somewhere in that vast country someone with a Boris or Natasha like accent is saying"if CDs not picked up, great gift for wife kids. Love american movies" the pick up slip is sitting next to CDs

Hope you get them.

Years ago sent wedding gift to India and customs charged recipient cost of gift.

As MV didn't took the time to answer my question and Intrada doesn't give any reply to a costumer email, I would like to ask you guys if you recently ordered BATMAN RETURNS from SAE and if they already got it in stock. Thanks.

I ordered BR in December from SAE, already received.
So I fancy some copies still in stock.

Excuse me, why aren't all record producers reading EVERY THREAD in case someone asks a SPECIFIC QUESTION that you can answer? I mean that is seriously RUDE. The nerve of these people! The thread SPECIFICALLY SAYS "Grrr! Annoyed! I want my soundtracks! Sad Face!" That should clearly indicate that every record producer needs to read that thread to make sure they're not the guilty party, and read through every post just in case a question is directed to them. This is not ROCKET SCIENCE, people! I'm beginning to doubt the commitment of all record producers now. Would all of them please respond by renewing their commitment to service my specific needs in 2011? Thanks in advance!

lol , it's the contrary for me : I pray for my order to ship AFTER december ("it's in backorder? woohoo perfect!) smile
But seriously : as soon as an order is placed , the titles are secured and with great stores like SAE , Intrada , Lalaland or Moviemusic you really don't have to be worry about.
It's christmas time and with the amount of great titles released , they are really busy preparing and sending a lot of orders.
Just be patient smile
