Is that main actor on the cover's right-hand side Miklós Rózsa?

I didn't know Snoopy was around in 1938 Berlin:

You would better off buying the Varese club releases through Varese since they sell at a premium everywhere else.

Everytime I've ever ordered from Varese I have been hit by customs charges, and that's only ever happened to me twice in a decade of ordering from SAE... So paying more at SAE works out as paying less overall for me...

Ditto, which is why I never order direct from Varese. I'd rather pay a small amount extra per title than be hit with a much bigger customs charge.

Funnily enough I will also be ordering Killing Me Softly with Berlin Affair. I would just like, if possible, to see if there are any Varese releases I'm interested in first. But as I said, I will be keeping a close eye on the stock levels over the weekend.

For anyone purchasing The Berlin Affair who has yet to snag Donaggio's Ordeal by Innocence (also by Kritzerland) I urge you to add that one to your cart as well. It really is an amazingly lush and wonderful Pino release. You will not regret it!

It's moving nicely, but I can't imagine it won't be here on Monday - as of right now there are 275 left.

Those samples are fabulous. "The Affair Begins" is particularly stunning. I love operatic Donaggio!

Thanks for holding a copy for me, Bruce, just in case. smile

Maybe please put one aside for me until Monday just in case, along with
GONE WITH THE WIND and DRAT THE CAT (if you have any
laying about). Since you also produced WOMAN OF THE YEAR
on Bay Cities, do you have any extra copies left?

This one's almost worth it just for that gorgeous cover art alone.

Glad you like it. I was very ornery about this cover and it took five tries to get it the way I wanted it. The first attempts used different art, that wasn't moody enough for me. I then told him the art I liked, and then it was a matter of getting the color the way I wanted it, which I was a little more maniacal about than usual. In the end, he did a great job with it, I think.

I'm scared. eek You did save one for me? I'll be ordering on Monday,
along with GONE WITH THE WIND. I'll get DRAT THE CAT next month,
if you still have one. Do you still have CRY FOR US ALL?

Yes, I've held one for you - we still have Cry For Us All, too. No worries. A few people asked me to hold and I'm always happy to.
