I agree, this "Symphony" sounds terrible. But why should James Fitzpatrick distance himself from it? I doubt he has anything to do with it except that he's usually working with the same orchestra...

I thought the "Symphony" sounded far better than the original recordings.
So we are coming to the end of the Games of Thrones. Since the start of the series what has been people's favourite musical moment /track and score from one or more series? Do you think that the music has improved throughout? Do you think the series deserved a better score?

All I did was book the musicians ....I had nothing to do with the actual production of Silva's CD ...I left them over 15 years ago !

Started watching the show for the first time recently...great series, but wow, this is what's considered great TV music these days?! I can't recall a single note of music from any episode. White Noise, all of it.
There are so many themes and motifs in this score that if you can't remember any music from it you're deliberately being obtuse and not giving the music any sort of chance due to your preconceived notions of the composer.
