Would certainly be nice to have one Barry score in the final batch but we'll just have to wait and see.

Think positive thoughts...

Right on! Yes, sir! I hope, I hope, I hope...!

(Glad someone beat me to it, afraid I'm starting to sound like a broken record here about WOLFEN!)

Still hoping for 'Sebastian' but obviously not from FSM.

I'd wish that DAYS OF HEAVEN wasn't the last FSM release from the Italian Maestro. *keepfingerscrossed*

I'm content to wait and let them come as they come.

The titles have been selected and will be released "when" they're released.

Are you guys like this about Christmas, as well?

No more FSM Goldsmith releases. But what a final Goldsmith from FSM/SAE/Retrograde !!!

I find myself looking forward to the final releases, and catching up with some of the CDs I've missed that are still in print.

Since GREMLINS seems to have been released on the Retrograde label, not FSM, does that mean we actually have 8 more FSM releases instead of 7 ???

smile

I'm guessing we'll have another Kaper, possibly an early MGM Waxman (maybe combined with the stereo 1959 COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS), a '50s Tiomkin at Warners, possibly a previously undiscovered WB master for a stereo Steiner of the '60s, possibly a Newman Paramount western, possibly Mancini's BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S from Paramount, and a BIG-HONK Rozsa wrap-up as #250!

Likely abandoned---a Waxman-at-MGM Set, a Stothart-at-MGM Set, a THIN MAN collection, the re-recorded TORPEDO RUN Rozsa stock cues, a Previn-at-MGM Collection, Volume 2 of TOM AND JERRY as well as other MGM cartoon music, David Buttolph-at-Warners, and individual requested scores like MARIE ANTOINETTE, PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY, ON BORROWED TIME, DOCTOR JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE, GASLIGHT, THE GOOD EARTH, HOUSE OF WAX/PHANTOM OF THE RUE MORGUE, AUNTIE MAME (orig tracks).....

the re-recorded TORPEDO RUN Rozsa stock cues

I really had hopes to see a release of this score! Wasn't this recorded overseas because of a musician's strike? I think there was much more than only cues by Rozsa.

Part of me wishes Gremlins sells enough for Lukas to reconsider... !!! In the meantime I'll sit through the countdown with both anticipation as well as reluctance.

So no FSM Goldsmith "Star Trek." frown

Ah . . . but perhaps the Rosenman "Star Trek"? smile

I'm hoping for Eidelman, myself.

Since we've been entering the traditional "wish list" area of the thread, how about Colombier's COLOSSUS - THE FORBIN PROJECT? wink

I'd think it's Warner, Paramount & MGM now, & maybe all silver age, & maybe a couple of two-discs sets. I wonder if the tapes of Body Heat are still missing? I'd like a few 60's Paramount's, but it's looking like the cupboard is mostly bare there.

To really go out with a bang, let it be Elmer Bernstein's masterpiece, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. I can't think of anything more glorious for a beautiful finish. Oh yes, a release of SHANE on the Counterpoint label perhaps.

To really, really, really go out with a bang, let it be Jablonsky's TRANSFORMERS - DARK OF THE MOON. No, just kidding.

If you go to the FSM complete list of CDs (which now stands at 243 titles) you will notice that all the Retrograde releases are counted in. So that leaves 7.

I would love a release of Ennio Morricone's Orca the killer whale with improved sound and the main titles with Edda. Bloodline is another Morricone score that needs a better release.

I know that all titles are already decided but I certainly wish for more Morricone.

How about 'King of Kings' instead? Its OOP, and quite pricey on the secondary marketplace. 'Ben Hur' is still available by Sony, and it's a fine release, nothing wrong with it IMO.

Anything from Rozsa will be appreciated but BEN HUR seems more likely. FSM closed the book on KoK with the TREASURY, while BH remains reserved.
