Anybody know where the score was recorded...?

I believe (although we should get confirmation on this) that it was recorded in parts at Beltrami's Pianella Studios.

I'd be willing to bet that "This is the Beginning" (the track posted on Kraft-Engel's website) will be performed as the selection from Snowpiercer that is performed in Cordoba next month (or at least one of the selections if more are...um, selected).

What a terrific concert piece this would be!

And there is still nothing regarding movie's release date or soundtrack album announcement... weird!!!
According to IMDB it should be released at the end of August in some european countries...

Hoping Snowpiercer's performances at Tenerife and Cordoba will propel it closer to a CD release...a breathtakingly thrilling score that deserves to be released! My favorite Beltrami score since Soul Surfer; a true masterpiece.

FYI, we premiered the same suite in Cordoba during our spectacular tribute to Marco. It's a terrific score!

Why is there no CD or even download release planned?

Why is there no CD or even download release planned?

And people wonder why there is a market for the unmentionables.

On a side note, almost every Marco Beltrami score has the complete recording sessions "leaked". I wonder if Marco secretly endorsed that.

Before anyone starts talking about boots please keep in mind that often times these days soundtrack deals are signed mere weeks before a movie comes out, especially if its an independently produced one.

Hell, we got the deal for RED 2 just last week and the film is coming out July 19!

Can I assume that you guys are working on it?

You guys sure did a great job on his Max Payne (complete with his signature, yay!). That's how you outcompete the boots!

Well, fingers crossed you could get this one too ;-)

Or for example REPO MEN, xXx 2, CURSED,... smile there is far too many scores in Marco Beltrami catalogue just gathering dust.

The unavailability of this score is a ridiculous segue to bringing up the availability of bootlegs, which really shouldn't be brought up at all, to say nothing of the curious aspect of just how exactly you know how many MB recording sessions have been leaked...

There is this thing called the internet and information flows on it.

See, e.g. Lokutus' website.

hmmm.... I am getting even more interested in this one... smile

"Among the generally impeccable craft contributions — including composer Marco Beltrami’s excitingly big, brassy original score..."
