Yes! I would really go for that. The Vikings is always one of the first that I think of when thinking of new rerecordings. The best thing Mario Nascambine ever did. Lot of great music there, almost unlistenable because of the horrible original tracks.

Silva did an extended suite, but it left out any reference to all the fine mystical stuff (like the turning back the tide scene), so it's rather useless.
Hugo Friedhofer's "Vera Cruz", "Geronimo", and "The Secret Invasion" (though that rerecording of Friedhofer's music by Morgan and Stromberg didn't sell very well).

How the absence of 'mystical stuff' makes the rest 'useless' is not at all clear to me.
My request would be to do these Classic John Williams scores that have yet to be released in full.
THE REIVERS- (also include the the underscore version of that suite that Williams adapted for the live narration)
THE RARE BREED (A suite was done with a few highlights from Silva Screen so it should not be much difficult to get the whole score done properly)
THE SUGARLAND EXPRESS -Williams/Spielberg yet to be released OST derserve a resurrection apart from the theme Williams recorded with Boston Pops. And be sure to include the flute version of the theme which Williams also did for some concert versions.
Also the following:
OBSESSION (Herrmann) THE BRIDE WORE BLACK (Herrmann) ON DANGEROUS GROUND (Herrmann)
For the above Herrmann titles it would be nice if Bill Stromberg were to join the team or unless they want to do the recording of these someday on their Tribute label. (I'll wait)
The biggest problem here is find the original written scores by the late Brian May.
I suspect his estate has them or copies thereof. Finding them might be a bit of a trick.
It's a project that might well be right for this approach given the multi-track masters were destroyed by the recording studio (Mr. May was NOT HAPPY about that)
Also, I suspect a new recording would benefit on a audio level as well, since the studio they recorded it in for film always seems a bit small.
It would tend to make sense to me…
The Question is would say PROMETHEUS be at all interested paying to have it done.
